Snow, shikara, serenity. Book Kashmir 2026 with JKL Travels—your story begins here

Jammu & Kashmir — often described as Paradise on Earth — continues to break tourism records, welcoming millions of visitors thanks to its scenic valleys, snowy mountains, historic sites, cultural heritage, pilgrimage routes, and adventure opportunities.

Why Jammu & Kashmir Should Be Your Top Travel Destination in 2026

Record Tourism and “Paradise on Earth”

In the past few years, the Jammu & Kashmir tourism sector has grown exponentially. Over 2.36 crore tourists visited J&K in 2024, including foreign travellers, religious pilgrims like Vaishno Devi and Amarnath Yatra participants, and adventure seekers.

A recent government survey shows that Jammu region’s religious tourism (especially Vaishno Devi Yatra) continues to drive large visitor inflow, while Kashmir attracts international nature and adventure travellers.

With robust infrastructure improvements, enhanced connectivity (road, air, rail), and a thriving hospitality ecosystem, J&K is uniquely positioned as both a cultural pilgrimage destination and a scenic holiday paradise.
